I’m a musician so I do have a dog in this fight… I have a very different outlook on this subject from so many other artists though, I believe it is a tool will augment our art, not replace it or make us lazy, all the best artists I know couldn’t be lazy even if they wanted to, once the drive to creat takes over, the learning process becomes an ambient effect of the creative journey itself, I don’t believe ai will make true artists lazy, I think it will evolve the scale of the art, a true artist’s creative drive will not let them be lazy, in order to scratch that itch they will need to see how far can they go, how much can they improve themselves and how far they can push the ai tools to create things that simply weren’t possible without money and teams of talented people, with ai, you only need one talented person, you, and the ai becomes the replacement for your team and a tool to augment your art in a way to propel it further than you could’ve done without it. Obviously people will and do abuse it, people without a creative drive will just use it to try to make money.. but to ignore the possibilities when these tools are placed in the right hands is a mistake in my personal opinion, I respect any and all opinions on this but I just felt compelled to offer my own, ai is certainly concerning but it also is a tool just like any other that can provide a lot of value
