There's a famous quote, often attributed to Alan Moore that goes something like this:
"It's not the job of the artist to give the audience what they want. If the audience knew what they needed, then they wouldn't be the audience. They would be the artists. It is the job of artists to give the audience what they need."
That's why all this AI "art" will never be as satisfying as being smacked in the brains by a good, thoughful, human created (flaws and all) piece of art.
