It is no different than any other technology. Nukes, computers, guns, even vehicles. You can go down a laundry list of technological advances that spooked everybody because it could be used for bad. I am sure it will be used for bad but we need common sense regulations put in place for AI. Laws like you can’t make AI without multiple ways to kill it on demand. Just real simple stuff like that and then overtime we just keep an eye on it and we develop laws as needed. I mean it is never gonna be perfect but the sooner all the old fucks in congress can get off their fat fucking asses and actually do something, the better.
