Might be a bold take, but in terms of the disability argument, they argue that Picasso should still be considered an artist because of his creative thoughts even if he was physically incapable in every way of producing art. I believe that, regardless of how incredible your ideas are, if you are incapable of producing anything with them, you are not an artist. You are a dreamer, thinker, philosopher, whatever you want to call it, but not an artist, because no art was produced by you.
If I have somebody do a commission for me, I become the one with the idea, but no ability to produce it myself. I am not the artist for my ordered commission, however, the artist I commissioned would be the artist. Likewise, an AI prompter cannot be the artist if they did not actually produce anything themself, but only gave the order for its production.
