I have been drawing since I was given the crayons to do so, I have a drawer full to the brim of bad drawings from my childhood. I didn't actually "practice" to get better until I was like 12ish, and I've been taking actual art classes for 6 years, I'm now a senior illustration major in art school and it took me a heck ton of bad drawings to get there. Very few artists started as child prodigies, we work hard and push ourselves with each piece we make. People who can't imagine the idea of pushing themselves to practice something and advocate for "ai art" probably have never beat a fromsoft game and can't fathom doing so
