[autonomous semis is not a terrible idea. there are pros and cons to everything. no one likes the cons but the pros are highly favored and adored. platooning is a great idea. however, as everyone should already know, even though it's known that human resources are compulsive complainers and costly, it's a temporary solution to still keep men and women truckers on the steering side with compensation packages. in other words, platooning will quickly phase out in favor of software drivers (no pun intended). y'all have very little time, but y'all better be advancing thinking snappy quickly now on how your existence is still valuable to yourself, those around you and beyond that circle. putting all or any of your energy into efforts to halt something that realistically will not stop is foolery. machines and software have been (for a lot of decades) and continue to take jobs from people. y'all definitely aren't the first or even hundredth wave affected by this either. y'all just thought y'all were exempt and didn't help those before your time, which is now, stop the machine and software takeover but instead watched your neighbor get screwed while eating your popcorn saying "not my problem". now it is. you have to be light-years ahead of the game or you'll lose your life(style). not up for debate or questions. as Jesus would say, "let the dead bury the dead." cheerios.]
