You are doing yourself a disservice by not trying to use the models to their full capabilities. You aren't trying to use the models to help you, you are purposely trying to use them in a way so that they won't be helpful for you because of your personal bias against AI. Like how you say you "wanted to test" if it could use the right Actuator package instead of suggesting it and seeing if it can do a good job with that information. The model you used is outdated at this point as well.
