This guy is a joke. This is a technology in its infancy. If we don't start somewhere, we will never get anywhere. He is expecting perfection out of the gate and that is not possible with any new idea. The cat getting run over was not good but there are people every day who run over cats and dogs everywhere. We had an electrical inspector come into our yard and upon leaving ran over our dog who was barking at him. He saw the dog and ran over her anyway and then took off down our driveway. We called the power company complaining about him and they told us they are not responsible for what their employees do out in the field. Right now, we have angry, tired, drunk, distracted, etc., etc. drivers we have to share the road with and this has to be improved. Try telling someone that they need to improve their driving and see what reaction you will get. Self driving cars will help reduce these threats when on the road.
