You keep referencing a lawsuit about autopilot but then keep showing text material and some driving videos of full self driving. You also keep commenting on autopilot but then referencing what fsd is supposed to do not what autopilot is supposed to do. The whole video confuses autopilot and fsd. Its one of the things most people dislike about tesla and elon that they take two terms that essentially mean the same thing and then assign them to two completely different things that are not the same thing. It was always going to end up creating confusion. Anyway I've used autosteer on assisted cruise which honestly at this point im not sure if im technically using tacc or autopilot. just that by default the stop at lights and stop signs is unchecked and i've left it that way. And autosteer is by default not on and I tried it but it annoyed the crap out of me multiple different ways and then accused me of not looking at the road when approaching slowly a roundabout that I know for a fact it could never navigate and at which I always disabled it by tapping the brake. So it peeved me off enough to disabled autosteer and leave it off. I essentially got a strike for looking for deer at a known deer crossing out of the edge of my vision while mainly keeping my eyes forward, which also is what it flagged me for. It was judging that my face was pointed slightly to the right basically at the rearview mirror area rather than forward but my eyes were forward. If u see what I mean. its so i could do quick brief glances. The camera that monitors u is at the rear view mirror area and it essentially thought I was looking near it when my face was just pointed that way, my eyes were forward. It doesn't know the difference. Its stupid and has tried to jerk me off the road before anyway and always tells you to physically shake the wheel or resist it steering forcefully just so it knows ur hands are on the wheel cause it doesn't have any sensors that otherwise has any clue ur hands are on the wheel which is the other nutty thing about it that drives me nuts. and also the sunvisor blocks view of the monitoring camera cause right at the rightmost edge it blocks camera view of ur face. so when driving into the sun u can't use ur visor, but when driving into the sun the forward cameras get blinded and slow the car until it gives up and tells u ur not allowed driving with it any version of it or cruise cause the external forward cameras dont like driving into the sun. alot of it is annoying but ultimately if ur not driving into the sun at a specific direction and time of the day and not using autosteer I dont have issue with the car and I dont have or trust fsd. I've had 2 free months now but never trusted it enough to try it. gave up on autosteer because its annoying as hell. and tried jerking me off the road several times. I had a passenger for witness on those occasions and he liked autosteer until the 2nd time it tried jerking to the right suddenly and said its going to kill us. I said dont worry I never trust the steering and have hands firmly on it at all times even though it can't tell u have ur hands firmly on it and constantly would tell me to shake the wheel, shake the wheel. why the heck would any normal human want to constantly resist the normal turning of the wheel forcefully and or shake the wheel while driving like a nut. its stupid design. just needs some touch sensors strategically placed in clock positions on steering wheel top or underside. like 2,3,4,8,9,10 oclock to sense human finger touch on steering wheel like all those screens kiosks that only work from fingerpressing to order food or clock in or out at work. also I don't like elon's politics just wanted a good ev that has good access to superchargers and isn't made by traditional car companies who dont want to make evs, have explicitly said when they do that they dont want people to buy them, whose dealers claim not to want to sell or service them, who in the past have always said they make the barest attempt at a car for compliance purposes. Why would I trust buying an EV from car companies who are making their real money off gasoline cars and haven't made a real commitment to wanting their EVs to succeed because it will canabilize their other cars. In the future if I buy another EV though it will have to be someone else, just unfortunate were not allowed to buy chinese ones I really would like to buy an SU7 or YU7. And if I were allowed to do so the SU7 was I believe available for ordering when I Ordered the Model 3. Just our car companies don't believe in competition and neither does our politicians. Also neither does Elon because he explicitly said if we dont keep china out of the U.S. car market there wont be a U.S. company left alive in the U.S. car market. Though he and the U.S. car dealers want to sell and do sell into the chinese car market. hypocrits.
