The point he made was similar to the point that Morpheus made when addressing Neo in "The Matrix". The 3 agents, although they were able to dodge bullets, still operated within the realm of rules. In other words, unlike Neo, they couldn't transcend the rules. Consider for a moment that perhaps the powers that be WANT you to be no more than computational systems because the agenda blends nicely with Fascist intentions, or aligns with elitist Fascists who have much to gain from those they can dumb down further and exploit. Perhaps AI can be used in service of humanity, but you'd be naive or willfully ignorant to suppose that there isn't a Satanic element lingering somewhere in the background.
