OK DOCTOR, so if AI just became a big THREAT and is gonna kill us all, we should rather let it kill us? ORRRRRRRRRRRRR we can shut off the Internet (just the entire network) and we wouldn't have to turn off our computers even, although without the internet they would be mostly useless, BUT AT LEAST, we won't die?
And if you are a smartass who'd say: our money is digital, our work is over the computers BLA BLA, then maybe we should start thinking of a PLAN B, because people like the GOOD DR here are warning us that the SINGULARITY is coming, so maybe we prepare for a contingency plan? We know the AI's weakness: unlike us, it depends SOLELY on electricity. Surely there are good batteries, but batteries need to recharge after a while, UNLESS, AI makes nuclear batteries that last for centuries, THEN we ARE FUCKED!!
So my point is, this is entirely HUMAN MADE, just like the NUKES. They made the nuke, they killed hundreds of thousands of Japanese, and they made even BIGGER AND BIGGER and MORE AND MORE nukes to the point that a few MAD MEN can wipe out the entire humanity. AND NOW, they are making another tech that would wipe us out...
