To be a little bit dramatic, it almost hurts to have people just pin it all on talent, gifts, or something that doesn't show our love and maybe even creativity. My "talent" was my pure passion and determination to let my thoughts become visual and physical pieces, whether done well or not. I started at 8 and even 9 years later I've done nothing but look to improve and learn, take my years of dedication and building of skill and trying my hardest to be better while enjoying the journey too. That's why I chose to do art in school, to learn realism and different media while also giving myself time for my own personal style that I've made to show who i am. Now I look back on my absolute scribbles and just admire the fact that all of this came from a strange dream, drawing one singular person that I decided I wanted to become the motivation to do more. AI doesn't create because it's not creative. It builds an image, and it doesn't paint a picture. Seeing people almost blame us for having dedication and years of skill is just heartbreaking, knowing they'll never understand why we choose to make emotions, feelings, and passion with our own hands.. if only they chose to pick up a pencil and scribble instead.
