So the human driver gets the bad end of pick up & delivery, because your AI technology cannot mitigate all the variables. Just watch many situations over the road leg that this autonomous driving will fail, but that will get well hidden from the data. Catastrophic Crashes would decimate the investor’s; Safety isn’t Trucking Companies focus, bottom line Profits are! Only under ideal conditions is this scenario of a driverless truck remotely possible; let a snowstorm & other vehicles into the equation, this gets ugly fast. Another company pushing the Koolaid to get investors; then go bankrupt, a fool & money soon part. Imagine if this kind of capital was invested in better education & pay for “professional drivers “.
