Without artists, AI art wouldn’t really be as popular as it is now since they have no artists and artworks to base the images off of.
AI art is a nice concept and could be used as a tool to aid artists who create their works by hand, but to sell it? It’s basically taking bits from everyone’s years of hard work to get to that point of art style- just for it to be sold by someone who scrolled through all of the ready made images AI gave them to choose from.
