It's ironic to me how 5-10 years ago, before ai. the anti-art, anti-intellectual conservative people. Would complain about modern art, and how "they could do it", and that the only "real good art", are like classical art paintings of houses and nobles portraits. They would constantly cry about modern art, it being "ugly" and "lazy", now after ai, the very same people who only wanted to see old paintings of castles. Are jerking off AI, they don't care about the process or the details now. To right wingers and conservatives the anti-art movement has always been anti free speech and creativity. They want a future where corporations churn out tons and tons of slop with no input of creative artists. When 5-10 years ago they were complaining about modern art being "lazy" and "ugly", now they 100% dived into the ai art band wagon. These people are simply anti intellectuals who don't understand art or human creativity. Their experiences with creativity are making custom gun skins on call of duty, that's it. They see about 5% of artists "make it" and get jealous, crab in bucket territory. "why do I have to toil at my minimum wage job while somebody who studied art for 10 years can charge about 20 dollars for a drawing?", It's a mixture of jealousy, mixed with being uninspired, anti intellectual and no talent. Mix all those ingredients together you get an ai art "bro", who cannot wait for the day where the publishing companies can churn out propaganda with no input from human artists. They do know that there is no possible way for them to get rich or famous off ai art. It's all open source and anybody can do it. What they are really about is to make sure nobody else can ever do that in history. Since they are all jealous butthurt losers who worship anti-intellectual movements like donald Trump, covid deniers, genocide deniers, conspiracy theorists. Just all the worst people on twitter and 4chan.
