The reason I hate AI so much is because it steals from real, hard work put in from thousands and thousands of creatives and was released with NO regulation!! No credit, no nothing. Nothing is more infuriating than someone generating an image from a prompt and calling it art. They’re prioritising remakes over originals in the theatres and calling a prompt regurgitation art. I don’t hate AI as a tool, I hate the way it was pushed without worrying about the consequence first. The AI slop that is on kids YouTube is abhorrent. The deep fakes are so realistic now that it could cause someone to sway their policies views or be scammed thinking a family member is in serious danger if they aren’t well educated. It’s the end game of corporate greed and I’m really not looking forward to the consequences it will bring if it continues the way it has been.
