AI is going to take *most* of our jobs away. There's always going to need to be a small skeleton crew staff overseeing all of the AI and making it sure that priorities are being set for the organization. And there will probably be some roles and luxury/artisan type of goods that will always continue to be handmade just for the sake of it.
The problem is going to be figuring out what to do with all the unemployed people once we get to that point, which will probably happen within the next 20 years or so. We're going to reach full employment simply because there will be way more people looking for jobs than actual jobs available. It'll be a terrible time to be alive for the unemployed crowd while the country figures that out.
