I suppose the Clay Mathematics Millennium Prize Problems are a really good test of 'intelligence'? But then, me, as a non-professional in maths, seem to have finished a layperson's proof of one of them - The Riemann Hypothesis - just this afternoon using pre-University level maths. The Riemann Hypothesis concerns the distribution of Prime Numbers, and whether the 'Non-Trivial Zeros' of the Riemann Zeta Function will always have a 'real part' of '0.5'. I think I figured out that The Riemann Hypothesis is about Prime Numbers that are less than '2' - so Prime Numbers that are 'imaginary' in that sense. And my proof basically involved showing that Euclid's argument that there are infinitely many Prime Numbers is both a non-Materialist argument and also seems to be logically inconsistent. But I was only working on this as a distraction from my own and the world's significant problems. I thought I might feel a sense of achievement, or a two fingers up to the world. But I don't really feel anything. And because it is me that has done it, it feels like anybody could really have done it. Plays smallest violin in the world...
