The entire objection is being afraid of somebody knowing who a person is.
That's a stupid objection because if we were talking about whether a person, not a computer, is allowed to identify a person they know, there'd be no question that it would be acceptable.
This is just a distraction from the bigger issue of systemic fears. We don't need to ban facial recognition, we need to restructure risks and punish exploitation.
