I was so disappointed when the AI Ghibli feature came out. Mr. Miyazaki said that 'it was an insult to life itself' When shown a video which showcased how AI could create animation, Mr. Miyazaki said that it reminded him of a disabled friend who was unable to use his arm, suggesting that AI creators lacked understanding of real human pain and effort. His reaction was clear — AI art was an insult to the struggles and creativity behind true human expression. Studio Ghibli is known for their detailed and hand-drawn animations, drawing each and every single frame unlike most companies nowadays. Maybe it's time we stop using AI for art and actually learn how to draw, it isn't that hard to pull up a tutorial on YouTube or maybe taking drawing classes.
