yeah the train has allready left the station. 3 years ago i saw at my city the first fully automated DBD delivery "truck" that didnt even have a cabin to begin with, its just a cargo box on wheels, it drives right in to traffic and ppl dont seem to mind. The real reason why everyone has not jumped to the fully automated cargo vans is simply bc at least here in EU, its far more expencive to have autonomic truck to deliver ur good then the human to do so.
