Yeah, sorry. Have to disagree with that. Sharing a depression episodes with an AI is probably not a good idea, but what about the severe cases?
I lived 14 years in almost complete isolation. No job, no money, no friends, abusive family members.
I got into this situation after living a whole life with C-PTSD which was getting worse year by year.
Not only do therapists in my country mostly not acknowledge this diagnosis, but those who do, are freaking expensive. I tried to get free help, tried medication, but was told "therapy is necessary for your case."
What did I get after saving for that only session I had? "Sorry, that's way too much to work with for me. I'm afraid that I can accidentally make it worse for you."
So yeah, I'm using AI for therapy, because I can't get a real one.
And yeah, sorry for the grammar and readability. English is not my native language.
