This Princeton guy saw a niche where he could offer copium in exchange for a few minutes in the spotlight. His point about "reliability" is silly because he seems to be assuming that the current behavior of the models will be the future behavior of the models--even though dozens of massive companies are actively working to improve the AI. It's the typical situation of: Guy looks at ChatGPT and thinks "This thing is dumb. No way it replaces me." Meanwhile everyone actually working on the tech is like: "ChatGPT is dumb. We'll be replacing it soon with something much smarter."
