The sad and infuriating thing is that these "AI Artists" only are calling themselves out as being artistically illiterate. Let's be honest; AI art often sucks. It takes a little trial and error to get what you had in mind, it's not always so simple... But they're so lacking in any artistic ability that they think that their 30 minutes TOPS of effort somehow translates to some actual art pieces that take HOURS to create, and that's if you know what you're doing. The only actual true application for generative AI I've found thus far is for home D&D games. It hurts no one, I never would have commissioned an artist for my audience of 4 fellow players anyway, we just get some neat art for rolling dice with. Did it take my 15 minutes to get a picture that felt right? Sure. But I didn't have to MAKE A FUCKING PORTRAIT PAINTING, I'm not an artist. lol
