the sole reason non professionals think AI generated content like this is impressive is because they’re non professionals… at a glance, they don’t immediately understand why AI looks so eerie compared to real art. they don’t know that we in the animation industry have to ruthlessly study light, physics, psychology, & kinesiology. animation is not moving pictures, it’s the illusion of life — so AI can’t just replicate imagery it’s fed, it has to replicate life. only if it can perfectly, steadily maintain realism like artists can will it’s content stop looking so creepy & lifeless. until then, please stop saying this crap looks just like Pixar.
