Interesting conversation, I also want to add, if you are watching the entire AI thing going from a place outside the US, in some ways It's even more scary. Because you know that even if your own government would act responsibly, it's not going to change anything. The current American government seems to have "the advancement of mankind" really, really, low on the priority list. AI that will turn against us is a global thing, yet it's treated like a company thing at worst and a government thing at best.
