As an aspiring writer and library professional, it is categorically ridiculous to assert that AI is good for writing because not everyone can afford an editor or publisher? I know SO many self-published writers who would literally just give their writing to friends and family for feedback.
One of my regular patrons self-published a children's book based on her kid who LOVES the library. The art isn't professional and it's just a little book she edited herself. But she did it by herself and it's GREAT. Isn't that what NaNoWriMo is all about??
