I come from traditional art, been doing it since I have memory and it´s practically an extra biological need as it is eating, sleeping or shttin´. Yet I see AI image generation as something fascinating. I believe most of the anger and hate towards it is just because many are suddenly seeing themselves surpassed in a matter of seconds by something that can put in front of their eyes marvels of a quality they simply can´t achieve not even being born two more times. And that´s all. The art world (in all its branches) is full of egos. And battles of it. I like when they say "I´ll do a special correcting or remaking drawings of my viewers" as if it´s something coming out from pure goodness while it´s in fact something to show how much better they can do it. Well..now a new challenger "inserted the coin". And in the same way it can create abominations with extreme flaws it can also wipe the floor with their skills when it nails it. Putting in front of people images with almost unreal quality. And that threatens the "VIP Club" they thought they belonged to. Try to camouflage complaints with all morals you wish but the truth is that. Because even if the IA was trying to mimic their style but with an inferior quality they would not care if their style is being used as they do now. They would probably make the special video correcting AI flaws as they do with their naive audience. They would have fun with it. And sometimes even with errors and all, the images are still way more interesting than what they do.
