This whole AI thing reminds me of the movie The Thing, starring Kurt Russell. If you've never seen it, it's a horror film from the 80's about an alien creature that individually imitates a group of guys, and it does it perfectly. Throughout the movie, the guys don't know who's human or who's the thing - who's real or who's a sockpuppet.
Same thing here. Technology has become so advanced and the fact that AI perfectly imitates a person's voice, and even deepfake technology can perfectly imitate a person's face......it's becoming a frightening reality where we may not know who's who. Is this the real voice of the person? Did they actually do that? Or is it all a digital trick? 😨
