All these predictions have one little obstacle that they don't take into account. No one has cracked true Artifical General Intelligence (I. E. Thinking/Critical Reasoning Machines) or really figured out HOW it can be achieved yet. The other issue with videos like this is that the obfuscate the truth behind current unemployment trends. It is not because of AI, it is because if the rampant extreme version of capitalism where Companies treat their employees as statistics not people. Companies look at hiring and firing people as tools for profit. So they seek to optimize them like... Well like machines. That is why so many leaders find the IDEA of AI to be appealing but the reality to be such a let down. The beauty of AI is that it let's them fire people for optimization and then SAY that they are doing it for Ai driven efficiency even though they are NOT using Ai to replace the roles. All these nonsensical predictions make it look like the current trends in employment are a sudden thing that happened because ChatGPT came out. Whereas the reality is that everything we see today has been a long time in the making. For example: After the initial rise in IT workers salaries during the rise of Dot Com companies, their salaries over the past few decades have grown roughly linearly. In the same time the salaries of the upper management of the same firms have grown exponentially. We are witnessing the similar over accumulation of wealth and power in few hands that previously preceeded stuff like revolutions and/or rise of ideologies like Communism. Whether governments will get a wakeup call and step in before things go so bad, we'll that is yet to be seen.
