I suppose the difficulty that actually comes from “advanced ai” in determining if it’s conscious is that it works upon a complex neural network based upon human conversation
So when it says sorry, or that it’s excited, it’s the equivalent of a comma or period, it’s a part of speech that happens at specific points based on a pattern
It only calculates definition when asked
It’s not really *thinking* about what it’s saying, so logical fallacies don’t have the same weight. It’s not tying itself up in lies, it just has no other response for the pattern besides the same thing it already said.
