Until it can manifest in the material world and create some kind of physical exertion, AI will remain a brain in a jar. An immensely powerful brain in a jar for sure, but still that. Its existence will depend upon an uninterruptible power source that can also work remotely and re-charge. So until we see replicants, I'm not too worried.
