My experience is different than yours. AI is pretty good at some basic programming tasks, for instance I can create a matplotlib plot or write complex Clickhouse queries, or write a python wrapper for AWS S3 much faster now. It does introduce errors here and there but overall it makes coding much easier. You yourself saw already that it seepds you up. If you AI can reach a point where it speeds us up by 10%, a team that needed 10 people will likely do the same job with 9 (roughly speaking just to understand how AI can take away jobs).
