I'm genuinely so angry at all the AI shite. I even used it a bit at the beginning, just out of curiosity and for fun, but it wasn't rly doing what I wanted tbh. But either way, I'm angry, cause this is a genuinely amazing technology that, even with the generative stuff, has its uses. For example, games like Infinite Craft, which just completely couldn't have been done without that, or somebody I once heard about, who used to make like pre-concept art? As in, they had actual concept artists, but along with just description, they also gave them a very crude AI art of the thing needed, to just better communicate. Even with those, there's the issue with electricity and water use tho, sadly. Also, just naming it "AI" is annoying to me. It is not intelligent, it just simulates intelligence. At best I'd call it simulated intelligence.
