How ironic that with AI, everything will become "dirt cheap and so you can provide for everyones basic needs" but nobody wants to 'provide for everyone.' Not the government (who seem hellbent on killing anyone who isn't at least a millionaire), not the uber rich (who seem determined to be the last cocks on a dungheap), certainly not religion (who is just bent no matter how you look at it)... just nobody. NOBODY WILL TAKE CARE OF US. We will have to take care of ourselves. And we'd better get really good at hiding from the drones who will be seeking out the 'illegals' (we'll all be illegal soon) for the slave camps.
