Lol, rights for machines is gonna be a HUGE step backwards in progress. Driving a car, watching TV, and even playing games is gonna be a violation of AI rights. Not to mention assembly lines would have to be run by humans 100% of the time. What would be the point of them being aware and living like us? Imagine losing a fridge on sale to a robot that won't even use it to store food.
