Meh, after we all have no jobs (artist or otherwise) cuz of AI, these same companies who tried to save money on labor will be crying about nobody buying their products. Money needs to flow in an economy and when we all got no jobs, they got no money. Universal Basic Income isn't the solution cuz we'll all be poor as heck and beholden to government.
I used to be able to post images and source artists on social media and it was fun but thanks to data scraping from AI, artists are overwhelmingly not allowing their art to be shared anymore. It sucks but I understand why. It also sucks that I see AI art slop everywhere and I can literally tell it's AI art almost immediately cuz it's all samey and lacks soul or meaning.
