See, lotta people are talking about AI taking over people's jobs. Do you think job is just about money??? NO! So much of job and profession is about identity, leverage, social dominance, hierarchy, authority, climbing the ladder, working on becoming richer, controlling each other, addiction to struggle and meaning making, exploiting others, status comparisons… These are hard wirings, and these are life scripts baked in our nervous systems…
AI & Robotics won't replace s**t! They will replace certain things in the manufacturing industry and other certain places like complicated medical surgeries… But the most common and dominant jobs are not going away, even if AI is 100x better than humans.. If AI touches any seriously loved jobs that are identity-based and hierarchy-based? People will literally cancel AI! And cancel the free market. They will stop buying things! People will protest. The lawmakers and politicians will stop AI from taking jobs! This whole AI taking jobs will become a political situation. AI can become as capable as it can be, but politics will not allow a big portion of jobs to go away.
