I don’t trust Altman or any of the Silicon Valley crowd. But I have worked at MIT at many of their facilities in Massachusetts. Their labs are subpar and there’s nothing really going on there. The students are almost all international and already have PhD‘s or masters degree in their home countries. Talking to professors there it became very clear that they intend to outsource most of the pharmaceutical and chemistry industry to India and this is another Oregon wealthy elite. I only bring this up because I do worry about this amount of spies that go to the university, and this woman went into journalism Makes me suspect. Of course the Chinese want us to slow down because whoever gets there first wins in a big way. So I would not be in favor of slowing down I would be in favor of speeding it up and making it as open source as possible banning companies from having secrets of course I know this isn’t going to happen and I’m more worried about the people running the world than I am about Skynet , but they literally are inventing and producing military robots presumably to kill me sort of like those 50 bio labs they admitted to in the Ukraine that were also made to make and bacteria that get people sick. That is civilian sick.
