I don't understand why the concept of money is so difficult to workout, to grasp, to understand... In a world where AI and robots can do all the work, we just DON'T NEED OR USE MONEY ANYMORE! It could be similar to the Start Trek fictional world where they don't have money anymore in the 24th century, where humans just work to better themselfs and humanity. Captain Jean-Luc Picard famously explains the situation in the film Star Trek: First Contact to a 21st-century character, Lily Sloane: "The economics of the future are somewhat different. You see, money doesn't exist in the 24th century." When she asks if they don't get paid, he replies, "The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in our lives. We work to better ourselves and the rest of humanity"."
