i hate the concept of "talent". Imagine a scenario, where you are competing against a "talented" person. you practice hours every day, in the same environment, for the same amount of time, putting in the same amount of effort. They will, probably be better than you, significantly so, because they can innately guess what is good, while you cant. now imagine, you both practice for a decade. at some point, you will both be roughly the same skill level, both being able to make amazing pieces of art. "talent" will not matter nearly as much anymore, because unlike before when you just started, there's very little left to GUESS, and so much more that you just KNOW. 10 years in, it matters much less who's talented, its who practiced harder and perfected their craft more. imagine spending years, perfecting a craft that probably wont even pay your bills fully, putting your heart and soul into something just cause you love it, and then some braindead consumer tells you "you only did that becaues youre talented". whether you are talented or not doesnot matter, that shithead insults your will and determination, your capacity to endure failure over and over just for the love of what you do. I dont think there's anything more insulting an AI bro can say to an artist.
