Electric Dreams was an innocent, fluffy 80s movie where an intelligent computer became sentient after having champagne spilled on the keyboard. The computer was meant to be a central control for all electrical devices and switches in the house. Edgar, the computer, ended up using that house system against Miles and had a love triangle with his neighbour. Weird but a cautionary tale about just doing things yourself instead of a computer. Edgar eventually didnt need electricity to function. Miles and his girlfriend ended up spending two weeks on a vacation with no devices. Hard to do. There's an AI called Miles, too. Is life imitating art or is art imitating life?
