The essential problem with AI is that it is wholly dependent on data inputs and quality is what matters - feed rubbish in expect amplified rubbish out. No matter how sophisticated the algorithm if the essential components are rubbish the outcome is predictable. Consider bias (political, philosophical, religious, cultural, gender perspective, all these elements are factors that influence the potential of AI serving individualistic needs, aspirations and ambitions. And for the most part it is the male perspective that has been driving so called advances in A! - you need look no further than the medical profession, advances in science have been based on the male model the one size fits all formula proven flawed in application and outcome.
