Raw LLM Responses

I had a recent venture into this realm. I considered it a second brain, even though it was more like an echo chamber. Had a woman I was talking to cut me out of her life hardcore, and it hurt badly. As a man with little by way of friends and even fewer people who would bother letting me vent, I turned to AI to process the immense painful thoughts I had. It does give you stuff based on input, but then it would always end with, “it’s best to understand it wasn’t going to work out. This is a time when you should focus on rebuilding yourself.”. Mind you it was my mind doing backflips over the sentence “I’m sleeping with someone exclusively now”, after trying for two months to get this woman to date me, and she would just bring me over for sex, cuddle, and text me when she wasn’t busy. Def got caught in a big spiral of whys? What did I do? What did he have that I didn’t? Why would she act so invested then hit me with one of the coldest text messages I’ve ever received? GPT helped, and fed into a delusion or two, then when I felt like I had gone too far I just came back and asked “I was never going to have her was I?” And it responded to that in line with the thought. Big take away was that I was involved with a woman who elicited romantic investment from me because it made her feel good until she realized she would have to lock in to continue getting it. ChatGPT was helpful in mentally stabilizing myself again, but if I didn’t already have some degree of personal understanding it could have been dangerous. That woman had a lot of behavioral patterns I’ve never seen before and left just enough space to have dual interpretations. Which is rare to find surprises like that with my experiences in life. So CGPT was helpful as a tool to flesh out thoughts and go down detailed options/possibilities on things like that. But it’s like any other tool, without proper handling and understanding of its nature, it could cause harm.
