These companies are alienating an entire generation of workers who were ready and willing to contribute to their business, only to be lied to when told that a machine is more valuable than them. But in reality it’s because of the greed of the shareholders and upper management. When AI blows over, do they expect us to just come back to them as if they didn’t treat us like expendable trash that can be thrown away upon the slightest chance of cost reduction? Guess not. I guess this is what you sign up for when you want to work in corporate America.
