Straw-manning the general arguments of pro-AI image generation and attempting to undermine any further argument with an implied maliciousness motivating the people against artists (persecution complex?). Finally capping it all off by writing all pro-AI image tool people off as just lazy. I have no doubt some people are stupid enough to actually say and act the way you have depicted here, but the lowest common denominator is not representative of the broader array of people who support AI art. As such, using the lowest common denominator as a symbolic monolith for all pro-ai art people is disingenuous at best. I personally find mockery to be cousin to malice, and as such am not a fan. It has a dehumanising effect to it that I believe we need much less of (dehumanisation) in the world now days. I guess my gripe with this skit is that it's frustrating to see certain arguments misframed intentionally so to strengthen the hero's (your own) position, while masking this manoeuvre as purely comical. But as I've gone over, it really doesn't hold under serious scrutiny anyway. The fact that ACTUAL *artists* do not recognise AI generation as an *artistic tool* is an endless source of befuddlement to me. This debate and argument and fear and frustration is almost identical to when photoshop went mainstream. I really do feel like this is an *overinflated* """issue""". That is to say, it's *not* an issue and I don't understand why people are crying and raging about it. Now make fun of me for having an original opinion, go on.
