On the tragic deadly crash at the start, I noticed: driving on the left lane, driving at estimated 80 mph (130 feet PER SECOND!) at night with limited forward vision, are deadly factors. Drivers with non Tesla vehicles crash daily under similar circumstances because the ultimate limit is in the human brain unable to comprehend the complexity of driving. Tesla’s fancy cruise control/navigation able, almost self driving technology, depends on inputs. Driving towards a failed bridge, a blocked blind curve, speeding over hills, etc. denies data to the sensors. Driving on the right lane at or below the speed limit, paying attention such as the stopped vehicles on the shoulder that had hazard lights activated, are clues that something has happened. RIP.
