The funny thing about the luddite comment is that the actual luddite movement was based. Luddites destroyed technology that REDUCES HUMAN VALUE IN EVERYDAY LIFE. They were fine with person operated weaving machines but destroyed automatic machines that weaved bad cloth that tore easily but was cheaper. They cared about the impact of a world moving away from human interest and towards economic interest.
