AI has racism issues not because it receives biased data, but that it doesn’t understand society. It sees the world in statistics and probabilities. It values whites over blacks cause “on average” as the data will show, a randomly selected black person is more likely to be a murder than a randomly selected white person. So this leads the AI to become, “racist” towards different races because it doesn’t understand that we are all humans and are all equal.
