At the moment most AI companies like to hype the idea that their system can replace actual developers, it creates hype, subscriptions from script kiddies and most importantly pumps their stock price. The day they announce it by firing their entire dev team, then I will really believe them. Geoffrey is not wrong a fully fledged AI in sci-fi terms will change everything its potential will be greater than we can imagine but its still a long shot from general intelligence.
